About the Founding of the Little Yellow Bird Foundation
Ashley Morabito founded the Little Yellow Bird Foundation, Inc. on August 27th, 2019. Her grandfather, Peter A. Morabito, DDS, had a huge heart & always wanted to help and serve others. He began a family tradition of offering aid to those in need. After Hurricane Katrina hit, the Lord started tugging on Dr. Robert Morabito’s heart to “GO!” This changed their family’s path & passion. They began going on international & domestic aid trips including El Salvador, Jamaica, Peru, Haiti, & Wise, Virginia. In the past, the trips have been self-funded with minimal fundraising. The goal of going on trips every year led to the creation of the foundation. Please consider joining the team on a mission trip &/or helping to fund the trips.
