Meet Dr. David P. Morabito
Originally from Virginia, Dr. Morabito attended Radford University in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree.
He has since become a Marylander, attending the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. During his time in dental school, he focused on oral surgery & esthetics. He was named the most likely to come back to teach at dental school by his peers.
Dr. Morabito is proud to carry on the family tradition of dentistry as a third-generation dentist. He enjoys improving the lives of his patients by improving their smiles. He values the variety of general dentistry while still being able to focus on family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry & oral surgery.
In order to stay up to date on the latest dental trends & techniques, Dr. Morabito & his staff take many continuing education courses, including cosmetic & comfort courses. He has also taken courses on oral sedation, implants & comprehensive TX planning.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Triple Crown Seattle Study Club, the Spear Study Club AGD & the Maryland State Dental Association.
Dr. Morabito also participates in many community service projects to provide free dental care in the U.S. & abroad. This includes mission trips to Peru, Haiti & El Salvador as well as local missions for the Virginia Mission of Mercy & providing Free Dental Days at multiple practices. He is a third-generation volunteer at the NOVA free clinic & looks forward to providing more Free Dental Days at Morabito Family Dental.
Outside of the office, he enjoys various activities such as paddle boarding, sailing & biking with his friends & family. He’s also working on his drone photography.
Dr. Morabito’s tongue-in-cheek dental passion also saw him play drummer for the band Plaque Sabbath.
